Şerif Yenen Awards
Serif Yenen received the “Award for Excellence in Service to Humanity” from the Rotary Club for his international presentations, promotions and virtual tours.
The Rotary Award for Excellence in Service to Humanity recognizes professionals who have demonstrated exemplary humanitarian service in accord with Rotary’s ideals.
For this award, candidates are considered based solely on the humanitarian service they have demonstrated through Rotary, with an emphasis on personal volunteer efforts and active involvement in helping others.
“Award for Excellence in Service to Humanity” was given to Serif Yenen by the International Rotary 2420 Regional Federation. The “Rotary 2420 Regional” representation includes 80 clubs in the regions of Istanbul and Thrace.
The presentation ceremony was held online on Tuesday, May 25, in the company of international Rotarians.
The “Award for Excellence in Service to Humanity” is recognized as one of the Rotary Club’s special awards. This award is given to a limited number of people who make an extraordinary contribution to their profession. Among the names who have received this award before are Türkan Saylan, Ali Sabancı and Rahmi Koç.
